Nicholas Bernhardt, EcoBizCheck's Managing Director was recently awarded a plaque by Brisbane's Lord Mayor, Campbell Newman, in recognition of the principal partnership formed with Brisbane's CitySmart program.

CitySmart is a Brisbane City Council initiative to help make Brisbane Australia's most sustainable city, with the goal of Brisbane becoming carbon neutral by 2026.

EcoBizCheck have been providing CitySmart consultancy advise, working together to improve city office tenants sustainability.

A recent case study revealed that one Brisbane tenant within a five month period reduced their energy consumption by 38% and saved 20% in consumable stationery, saving their company thousands of dollars and reducing their environmental impact.
